ARTIST BIO
Sheree Dohnt is a professional artist residing in Fremantle, who graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Visual Arts) in 2011. Dohnt approaches the possibilities of portraiture with a process driven art practice, and as a negotiation between artist, subject, medium and viewer, in order to encapsulate the themes of identity, parenthood and womanhood. In 2025, Dohnt was a finalist in the Mid West Art prize and winner of the South Perth Emerging Artist Award in the Works on Paper category. In 2025 Dohnt was an Artist in Residence at Midland Junction Arts Centre.
